Onkar Singh

Onkar Singh, born on 28th November 1989, hails from the cricket-loving heartland of Punjab, where cricket is not merely a game but a way of life. Growing up in the small town of Amritsar, a young Onkar would often be found honing his skills in the dusty gullies, dreaming of making it big in the cricketing world. From those early days, his passion for fast bowling was evident. With a natural right-arm-fast bowling technique, Onkar’s raw pace and ability to swing the ball both ways quickly set him apart from his peers.

Onkar’s path to professional cricket wasn't a simple one, littered with obstacles and fierce competition. His big break came when he was picked up by the Punjab Under-19 team, where Onkar's fiery spells began to garner attention. His professional debut in 2009 for Punjab in the Ranji Trophy was a testament to his hard work, and from there, his ascent in Indian cricket was nothing short of meteoric.
