Roshan Siriwardana, born on the 8th of June, 1981, in the quaint town of Galle, has carved a niche for himself as one of cricket’s fine allrounders. Growing up in Sri Lanka, Roshan’s initial foray into cricket was fuelled by the vibrant cricketing culture of his homeland. His journey began in the dusty, sun-baked playgrounds, where young Roshan bowled tirelessly and batted with a natural flair that caught the eye of local coaches.
