Ali Sikandar

Born on New Year’s Day, 2001, Ali Sikandar seemed destined for greatness from the get-go. Hailing from a cricket-loving family in Lahore, Ali's formative years were spent perfecting his technique in backyard games and local clubs. His exceptional batting prowess quickly came to the fore, and by the time he was 16, he had already earned a spot in the national under-19 squad.

Ali's professional debut came in the 2020 domestic season, and he didn’t take long to make his presence felt. In his first-class debut, he showed remarkable composure, scoring a century and putting his team in a commanding position. It wasn’t just his talent with the bat but his adaptable approach that caught the eye; Ali could effortlessly transition between cautious defence and aggressive stroke play, making him a nightmare for bowlers.

One of his standout achievements is the role he played in securing the national championship for his team in the 2022 season. During this campaign, he set a new record for the most runs scored in a single season by a debutant, a testament to his consistency and flair.
