Born on the first day of 2008, Joe Moores was destined to catch the cricketing eye from a young age in the cricket-loving town of Nottingham. Growing up in a family with a deep-rooted passion for the sport, it was no surprise that cricket became the heartbeat of Joe's childhood. His father often recounts tales of a young Joe tirelessly practising his wicketkeeping skills in their backyard, his gloved hands snapping up all manner of deliveries day in and day out.
