Chiemelie Udekwe was born on 2nd January 2005 in Nigeria, a nation not particularly famed for its cricketing prowess. Yet, from an early age, Chiemelie's affinity for the game was evident. Growing up in a neighbourhood buzzing with energy, cricket matches on narrow streets and patches of makeshift pitches became a school of sorts for the budding allrounder.
