Malinga Bandara

Herath Mudiyanselage Charitha Malinga Bandara, popularly known as Malinga Bandara, is a former professional cricketer from Sri Lanka.
Born on May 2, 1980, in Colombo, Sri Lanka, Bandara was identified at an early age for his exceptional leg spin skills.
He quickly rose through the ranks and represented his country at various levels, leaving a mark with his impressive performances.

Having displayed great potential during his school years, Bandara was selected for the Under-19 tour to India in 1997, where he showcased his talent on an international stage.
This earned him a spot in the Under-19 World Cup held in South Africa the following year, further cementing his reputation as a promising young cricketer.

In 1999, Bandara was included in the Sri Lanka A squad for their tour to England.
