Sohan de Livera

Sohan de Livera was born on 17 August 2000, into a cricket-mad family in Colombo, Sri Lanka. From a young age, the rhythm of a cricket ball bouncing on the backyard pitch was as familiar to him as the sound of a classroom bell. His journey began in the narrow streets of his hometown, where he honed his skills as a nimble wicketkeeper while imitating his cricket heroes.

As a teenager, Sohan was a standout performer for his school team. His left-handed batting prowess and versatile bowling skills, though primarily serving in a wicketkeeping role, caught the attention of local talent scouts. This two-pronged ability to both guard the stumps and attack on the field formed the crux of his competitive edge.
