Praveen Rajendran's journey in cricket began on the dusty pitches of Chennai, where he was born on 19 June 1996. From an early age, it was apparent to those around him that Praveen had an innate talent for cricket. Initially, he was inspired by the stories of legendary Indian bowlers, and soon his playground exploits turned competitive when he joined a local club at the tender age of 12.
