Born on June 7, 1930, in Jaipur, Singh was a right-arm medium-fast bowler and a right-handed batsman.
He made his Test debut against Australia in 1969 and went on to take 18 wickets during his international career.
Singh was known for his accuracy and ability to move the ball both ways, making him a valuable asset to the Indian team.
After retiring from cricket, he served as the manager of the Indian cricket team for over two decades.
