Great Horton Park Chapel Cricket Club

Welcome to Great Horton Park Chapel Cricket Club! We pride ourselves on being a friendly, sociable, and inclusive club that welcomes players of all ages and skill levels. Whether you're a seasoned cricketer or looking to try the sport for the first time, we have a place for you.

As the reigning champions of the Crossley Shield in 2022, we have proven our skills on the field. Currently, we have four men's teams competing in the Halifax League and the Bradford & District Evening League. Additionally, we have a women's softball team and an under 9's junior side. We have plans to introduce an under 11's side starting from the 2023 season. Our goal is to continue growing our junior section and we welcome anyone interested in running or helping run any junior age group to get in touch with us.

To join our ever-growing family club, simply contact us through our Facebook or Twitter page, or better yet, come down to our training sessions at the Ewart Street Ground. During the season, our training sessions take place every Tuesday from 6:00pm onwards, starting in mid-April. Don't worry if you're new to the sport or haven't played in a while – all old and new players are welcome.

In addition to our regular season, we also host winter nets at the Thornton Recreation Centre every Monday from 8:00pm to 9:30pm. This provides an opportunity for players to keep up their skills and stay connected with the club during the off-season.
