Harlow Town Cricket Club

Welcome to Harlow Town CCA, a sociable, family-friendly, and inclusive cricket club located in Harlow. We warmly welcome new members of all ages and abilities to join our club. If you have any questions or are interested in becoming a member, please don't hesitate to get in touch with us.

We are proud to be registered as a Community Amateur Sports Club and have been ClubMark accredited since 2005. These accreditations highlight our strong commitment to maintaining high standards in terms of safeguarding and the well-being of our members.

Our club boasts three Saturday teams, with our 1st and 2nd teams competing in the prestigious Hamro Foundation Essex League, and our 3rd team playing in the competitive Herts & Essex Border League. Additionally, we have a Sunday team that participates in local friendly matches, providing plenty of opportunities for our members to showcase their skills.

Our junior section is led by qualified ECB coaches, and all adults involved in coaching have undergone DBS checks to ensure the safety of our junior players. Boys and girls aged 5 and above are welcome to join our training sessions, which incorporate the national ECB programs. We offer All Stars for 5-8 year olds, Dynamos for 8-11 year olds, and age-specific teams for older players. Our junior teams also have the opportunity to compete against other teams in the West Essex District.

As part of our commitment to inclusivity, we are honored to work with Essex Cricket in the Community, hosting the Essex Ability teams. You can find information about their upcoming fixtures on our website if you would like to come and support them. Furthermore, we are entrusted with hosting the Harlow schools cricket competitions for both primary and secondary schools, further strengthening our ties with the local community.

During the summer season, we offer training sessions at the club on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Wednesdays are for seniors, including juniors aged 12 and above, who wish to practice with a hardball. These sessions are free, but membership rates apply. On Thursdays, we offer ECB All Stars sessions for ages 5-8 and ECB Dynamos sessions for ages 8-12. The cost for these sessions is £5.

To make use of our facilities or play for our club, annual fees apply. Full Playing membership is priced at £120, with discounts available for Veterans (over 50), Students (under 21), and Junior members. We also offer a free Junior membership for those who only participate in kids cricket, with a £5 session fee.
