Shipley Hall Cricket Club

Welcome to Shipley Hall CC, a cricket club located in Derbyshire. We pride ourselves on being an amateur club that consists of two adult teams competing in the Derbyshire County Cricket League. Additionally, we have a Sunday Friendly XI team for those who prefer a more relaxed style of play.

One of our biggest highlights is our thriving mixed Junior teams. These young cricketers play under the supervision of our qualified coaches and participate in the Erewash Young Cricketers League. We also have a dedicated Ladies section that competes in the Derbyshire Cricket Board Softball competitions.

Alongside our cricket matches, we organize various social activities for our members to enjoy. We believe that a sense of camaraderie is essential in fostering a supportive and welcoming environment. Therefore, we actively encourage our members to participate in these events and bond with one another.

In addition to our cricket activities, we are also the proud host of the Heanor Running Club, who use our facilities as their summer training base and for regional and national meetings. We welcome people of all ages and experience levels to join our club. Whether you are an adult looking to play cricket, a young player wanting to learn the sport, or a newcomer to the game, you will find a warm welcome at Shipley Hall CC.

During the playing season, we hold outdoor practice nights for our junior and senior teams. These sessions provide an excellent opportunity for members to improve their skills and enjoy the game. In the winter months, we organize indoor training, allowing members to stay involved and continue developing their cricketing abilities.
