Rainhill Cricket Club

Welcome to Rainhill CC, a prestigious cricket club with a rich history dating back to 1871. We are proud to call our current ground home for over 100 years, located just off the Rainhill village centre in the Borough of St Helens in Merseyside.

At Rainhill CC, we offer a comprehensive range of teams and programs for cricketers of all ages and abilities. Our senior teams compete in the highly respected Liverpool and District Cricket Competition (LDCC), with our first team proudly representing us in the Premier Division. In addition, we have a Recreational team that enjoys playing on Sundays and a Last Man Stands team that competes in a midweek league.

Our Women's section is steadily growing, with two teams participating in the LDCC Softball league/Super 8’s. Several talented ladies also proudly represent our club in senior teams, showcasing their skills and passion for the game.

For our younger cricketers, we have an impressive Junior section with teams catering to various age groups. From U9 to U18, we provide professional training throughout the summer season and ensure indoor training facilities are available during the winter months. As a club, we actively participate in the ECB National Programmes for All Stars and Dynamos, nurturing the talents of our young players.

Rainhill CC takes pride in our commitment to excellence and development, which is reflected in our ECB Clubmark accreditation for 2022-25. This accreditation is a testament to our high standards of governance, duty of care, and player development. Additionally, in 2022, we became an ECB Disability Champion Club, further demonstrating our inclusivity and dedication to ensuring cricket is accessible to all.
