Welcome to Chesterfield Cricket Club! Established in the 18th Century, our club has a rich history and has played on various grounds located in and around the town centre. However, we have proudly called Queen's Park our home since 1894, a ground that was initially created to commemorate Queen Victoria's Golden Jubilee.

Throughout our existence, Chesterfield Cricket Club has been a force to be reckoned with in the world of cricket. We were one of the founding members of the prestigious Derbyshire Premier Cricket League in 1999, a league that showcases the highest level of cricketing talent in the region. In 2008, we emerged victorious, proudly claiming the championship title. As a testament to our commitment and skill, we also field teams in both the Derbyshire County League and the Mansfield and District Cricket League.

Our club takes great pride in nurturing young talent and developing the next generation of skilled cricketers. With a thriving junior section, we provide a safe and supportive environment for youngsters to learn and grow in the sport they love. This dedication to youth development has earned us Clubmark, a highly regarded accreditation scheme that recognizes community sports clubs for their commitment to excellence across various sports.
