Welcome to Alderley Edge CC, a friendly and inclusive cricket club located in one of the most picturesque grounds in England, against the backdrop of ‘The Edge’, famous for its mythical legends of Wizards and Knights.

As a founding member of the Vivio Cheshire County Cricket League, the top league in the Cheshire Pyramid, we have the privilege of nurturing future talent and providing a pathway to First Class Counties and Academies. Our 1st and 2nd XI’s compete in their respective Premier Divisions, showcasing our high level of skill and dedication.

To further foster development, our 3rd XI plays in the Premier Division on Sundays, giving young talents the opportunity to grow and flourish. Additionally, our active Over 40’s midweek side plays on Wednesday evenings throughout the summer, offering a chance for seasoned cricketers to continue enjoying the game.

In 2023, we are excited to announce that outdoor cricket training, practice, and match play will commence on specific dates for different age groups, starting from April 14th. We invite senior cricketers, including older juniors by invitation, to join us on Thursday evenings.

At Alderley Edge CC, we also have a strong focus on cup competitions. Our sides participate in the prestigious Cheshire Cup and the Joseph Holt Twenty 20 competition, providing thrilling matches and unforgettable experiences.

We take immense pride in our thriving Junior Section, where cricket is provided for children aged 6 and above. Many of our juniors go on to represent Cheshire at District and County level, and some even feature in First Class County Academy XIs. The opportunities for progression into Senior cricket at all levels are abundant.
