Welcome to Altofts CC

Welcome to Altofts Cricket Club (CC), an inclusive and successful family cricket club situated in the heart of the community. We cater to both adults and boys and girls aged 6 years and above, offering opportunities for everyone to enjoy and excel in the sport.

Our senior teams compete in the prestigious Bradford League, which is renowned as the county’s leading amateur cricket league. Altofts CC is represented by our First XI and Second XI teams, both participating in 22 competitive games from April to September. In 2020, our First XI made history by clinching the Division 3 Covid Cup. They remained unbeaten throughout the season and emerged as champions after defeating Rodley CC in the final. Additionally, our First XI had triumphant victories in the Twenty/20 Competition in 2022 and 2017. In 2023, they achieved promotion to Division 2 of the Bradford Premier Cricket League, further solidifying their position as a competitive force.

We take great pride in nurturing young talent, with over 50 junior members aged between 6 to 17 years representing Altofts CC in the Heavy Woollen Junior League and Leeds & Wetherby League. Our aim is to develop the skills and passion for cricket in the next generation. We provide year-round training opportunities, offering indoor practice sessions during the dark winter nights and allowing juniors to practice at the club during the long summer evenings. Our qualified club members provide excellent coaching to these young players, ensuring their progress and growth on the field.

Altofts CC is also honored to hold Clubmark accreditation, which not only displays our commitment to the sport but also our dedication to providing a sustainable and well-run club environment for our members.
