Welcome to Arthington CC
Welcome to Arthington Cricket Club, a friendly, sociable, and inclusive cricket club located in the picturesque rural setting of Arthington Park, on the outskirts of Leeds. Whether you are a seasoned cricketer or a beginner with a passion for the game, we invite you to join our club and be a part of our thriving community.
At Arthington Cricket Club, we take pride in our two teams that compete in the highly competitive Nidderdale and District Cricket League on Saturdays. Additionally, we have a team participating in The Harrogate Evening League every Wednesday evening, from May to August. Our teams showcase exceptional skills, sportsmanship, and teamwork, making us a force to be reckoned with in the local cricketing scene.
Aside from our competitive matches, we also offer a friendly cricket experience at our grounds. Our facilities are available for hire, primarily throughout June and July, allowing individuals or teams to enjoy a game of cricket at our beautiful location. Whether it’s a casual match between friends or a corporate event, our ground provides the perfect setting for a memorable cricketing experience.
One of the highlights of our cricketing calendar is the highly anticipated Arthington Festival, held annually. This event takes place on weekends in late September and extends into October, with fixtures scheduled on both Saturday and Sunday. The festival attracts cricket enthusiasts from far and wide, who gather at our grounds to witness thrilling matches and soak up the electric atmosphere. We have even played games as late as 21 October, ensuring that the cricket season ends on a high note.
If you are a cricket lover looking for a welcoming club that embraces a spirit of camaraderie, Arthington Cricket Club is the perfect choice for you. We value inclusivity, respect, and a passion for the game, ensuring that everyone feels like a valued member of our cricketing family. Whether you’re a player, spectator, or supporter, we encourage you to get in touch with us today and become a part of the Arthington CC legacy.
