Welcome to Bakewell Cricket Club, a historic club founded in 1861. We are proud to call The Rutland Recreation Ground our home, a picturesque venue located in the heart of Bakewell and alongside the beautiful River Wye.

For the first time in our club's history, we are excited to announce our participation in the Derbyshire County Cricket League starting from the 2021 season. This marks a significant milestone for Bakewell CC as we transition from a period of competing in the Yorkshire & Derbyshire League. We are determined to make a strong impact in the county league and showcase our talents on a broader stage.

In addition to our league commitments, we are eager to rejoin the local midweek competitions, the Longstone League and Orme Shield, in 2021. These tournaments provide valuable opportunities for our players to excel and further enhance their skills in a more relaxed setting. Furthermore, we have planned a number of friendly fixtures on Sundays, allowing us to engage with neighboring clubs and foster a spirit of camaraderie.
