Profile
Welcome to Benfleet CC
Welcome to Benfleet Cricket Club, a local sports club that has been providing sporting opportunities for over 75 years. Located at Woodside Park in Benfleet, Essex, our club offers a wide range of cricket activities for members of all abilities.
Our senior section is made up of five Saturday sides, four of which compete in the prestigious Hamro Foundation Essex League. These teams showcase the highest level of cricket talent within our club. In addition, we have a development side that plays local friendly matches, providing opportunities for players to grow and improve their skills.
For those looking for a more relaxed and social cricket experience, our Sunday side participates in the Warsop Sunday League and also plays friendly matches against local teams. This offers a perfect opportunity to enjoy cricket in a more laid-back environment, while still challenging yourself on the field.
One of our biggest successes lies in our thriving Academy, which caters to both boys and girls. The Academy provides structured cricket coaching for young players, helping them develop their skills and passion for the sport. Our Academy teams include Under 9s, Under 11s, Under 13s, and Under 15s, ensuring that players of all ages have the opportunity to learn and grow within our club.
Additionally, we are proud participants in the ECB All Stars programme, which is designed for children aged 5 to 8. This fun and inclusive initiative introduces young children to the fundamental skills of cricket through exciting games and activities. For children aged 9 to 11, we offer the ECB Dynamos programme, which builds upon the foundation laid by All Stars and further develops their cricket abilities.
At Benfleet Cricket Club, we are committed to fostering a love for cricket in our community. Whether you are a seasoned player looking for competitive matches, a casual player seeking a social cricket experience, or a young child eager to learn the sport, we have a place for you. Come and join us at Woodside Park and be a part of a rich cricketing tradition that spans over seven decades.
