Welcome to Bottesford CC, where cricket is more than just a game. We are a thriving club that runs two sides on Saturdays, competing in Divisions J and N of the Gunn and Moore South Notts Cricket League. Our 1st XI is our more competitive team, while our 2nd XI focuses on player development while still striving for victory.

What sets us apart is the diversity you will find in our teams. We have players ranging in age from 12 to 73, with varying skill levels from experienced club players to those new to the sport. We pride ourselves on being an inclusive club, welcoming women and girls who are increasingly joining our ranks.

While we cannot guarantee everyone a game on Saturdays, we make every effort to give everyone a chance to participate while maintaining our competitiveness. Additionally, when availability allows, we also arrange friendly matches on Sundays.

Our membership fees are reasonable at £40 per year for annual playing membership, with match fees of £7 for waged individuals and £3 for unwaged individuals. We do not provide teas, so it is advisable to bring your own food. However, we do offer mid-innings drinks and a hot drink option at half time for home games.

For those looking to improve their skills, we offer senior nets on Wednesdays during the season. These sessions are voluntary, and there is no charge to attend. Additionally, from late January to April, we organize indoor nets in Newark on Thursdays for a small fee.

If you have aspiring young cricketers, we have a junior section that caters to various age groups, including All Stars, Dynamos, under-11s, and under-13s. Our clubhouse bar boasts “The Vale of Belvoir’s largest beer garden,” providing a great atmosphere for socializing before and after games.

We take pride in our welcoming and inclusive environment, with both our on-field and off-field conduct often receiving compliments from our opponents.
