Bracebridge Heath Cricket Club

Welcome to Bracebridge Heath Cricket Club (BBHCC), a friendly, sociable, and inclusive cricket club located at the heart of Bracebridge Heath. Whether you are a seasoned pro or picking up a bat for the first time, we welcome players of all ages and skill levels to join us.

Our club boasts a strong Junior section, with teams representing various leagues from U9s to U15s. We take immense pride in our juniors, many of whom play in the Lincolnshire County Cricket youth squads. At BBHCC, we provide a clear pathway for their transition into senior cricket, fostering a strong bond and ethos within the club. It is no surprise that we see a significant number of players coming through the age groups to play in our senior teams, including our 1st XI. We are also proud to have senior players representing Lincolnshire Minor Counties.

Our commitment to nurturing talent is exemplified by the success stories that have emerged from our club. Notably, Andy Carter, the former Nottinghamshire fast bowler, still showcases his skills in our 1st XI. We are also part of the ECB "All Stars" program, which introduces children between the ages of 5 and 8 to the game. Led by Sally Stevenson, a PE Teacher from Lincoln Minster School, this program provides a fantastic opportunity for young cricketers to learn and grow.

At BBHCC, we have two senior cricket teams that play on Saturdays. Our 1st XI competes in the prestigious ECB Premier League, while our 2nd XI battles it out in the competitive Lincs County League First Division. Additionally, we have two senior teams that take the field on Sundays. All our teams contribute to the spirit of camaraderie and sportsmanship that define our club.

Run entirely by volunteers, BBHCC relies on the support of our members and local businesses for financing. Through sponsorships, subscriptions, our 200 Club, bar sales, and fundraising events, we are able to sustain and enhance our facilities.
