Welcome to Bradenham CC

Welcome to Bradenham Cricket Club, located in the heart of rural Norfolk. Nestled on a picturesque village green, our club is steeped in family values and tradition.

Although the exact establishment date of Bradenham CC remains a mystery, we do know that it predates our earliest recorded records from 1944. In fact, committee members listed in 1945 reflect the strong family ties that have endured throughout the years. It is not uncommon to find two or even three generations of the same families representing the club. A prime example of this familial dedication is first team all-rounder, William Dewing.

At Bradenham CC, we place great emphasis on the development of our youth section. For many years, we have nurtured young talent and currently run teams at Under 9, Under 11, Under 13, and Under 15 levels. Our dedication to youth cricket has resulted in winning several county trophies. To ensure the best coaching for our young players, we have three qualified ECB Level 2 coaches and a team of support coaches, all focused on guiding children as young as 5 years old. Remarkably, many of these youngsters have gone on to represent the county at various age groups and have seamlessly transitioned into our adult teams. We are immensely proud of our “home grown” players who now make up a significant portion of the Saturday 1st team.

While the club constantly strives for excellence, one of our non-playing ambitions is to raise funds for a modern pavilion. We aim to replace the traditional wooden structure with a more cost-effective building that not only benefits the cricket club but the entire community. Despite this ambitious goal, our commitment to providing cricket for as many people as possible will never waver.
