Situated in a prime location overlooking the stunning Great Field and Braunton Burrows, our cricket ground is one of the most picturesque in Devon. Nestled behind Braunton Village centre, our ground boasts a spacious clubhouse complete with excellent bar and catering facilities. Whether you’re celebrating a victory or simply unwinding after a match, our clubhouse provides the perfect setting.
As a community club, we take great pride in nurturing local talent and providing opportunities for young cricketers to shine. Our team of dedicated volunteer coaches organizes and runs junior and youth training sessions every Friday evening from 5:00pm until 8:30pm. With over a hundred enthusiastic children aged between 6 and 15 participating, our club is investing in its future and fostering a love for cricket within the community.
In addition to our junior programs, our ground also hosts numerous pub and club league games. Many teams have made our prestigious Kelsey Ground their home venue, enjoying the breathtaking views and excellent playing conditions. Furthermore, our clubhouse serves as a hub for various local sports leagues, including pool league, darts league, and bar skittles league. If you’re looking for a versatile venue to host your own social event, our clubhouse is available for hire.
To top it all off, our clubhouse features a large screen that broadcasts all major sporting events, making Braunton Cricket Club a central hub of village life. Whether you’re a passionate cricket fan or simply enjoy watching the latest sporting action with friends, our club caters to all.
Join us at Braunton Cricket Club – where friendly faces, picturesque views, and a love for the game come together in perfect harmony.
