Welcome to Broad Oak Cricket Club! Established in 1880, we have a long history of playing cricket and have become a beloved part of our community. Our home ground, the picturesque Athletic Ground, has been the backdrop for countless matches and memories since 1920.

At Broad Oak CC, we pride ourselves on being a friendly, sociable, and inclusive club. We have two Saturday teams that compete in the Huddersfield Cricket League, as well as a third team that serves as a development squad. We are always on the lookout for new players to join our ranks, regardless of age or skill level. If you're interested in getting involved, don't hesitate to get in touch with us!

On Sundays, we also field a third/development team. Whether you're rediscovering the game after a break or simply looking to play occasionally, we welcome players of all backgrounds and abilities. Our goal is to provide a welcoming and supportive environment for everyone who wants to be a part of our club.

Our vibrant junior section is the pride of our club. We offer training, coaching, and league fixtures for children aged U9 to U17. We strongly encourage our young Oakers who are U13 and older to transition into adult cricket, starting off with our third team and eventually progressing to Saturday cricket. If your child has an interest in cricket, we would love to have them join our junior program.

Even if you're not a player, you're still welcome to be a part of the Broad Oak family. We have social memberships available and visitors are always encouraged to join us at the club on Saturdays for some good cheer and a refreshing beer in the sun.

Our dedication to excellence and running a well-managed club has been recognized through our recent achievement of ECB Clubmark accreditation. This accreditation demonstrates our commitment to meeting all the requirements set by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB).
