Welcome to the Butleigh Cricket Club (Butleigh CC)! We are thrilled to have you here on our website. As a club, we are proud to offer a range of cricketing opportunities for players of all ages and abilities.

At Butleigh CC, we currently have two senior Saturday sides. The first team competes in the Somerset Division of the West of England Premier League (WEPL), which ensures high-quality cricket and challenging competition. Our second XI plays in Division 4 of the Somerset Cricket League, providing a great platform for players to develop their skills.

In addition to our senior sides, we also have a ‘friendly’ team that plays a mix of mid-week and Sunday games. This provides a more relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere for players who are looking for a less competitive cricket experience. We believe that cricket is a sport for everyone, and our aim is to provide opportunities for players to enjoy the game regardless of their skill level.

We are particularly thrilled to announce the addition of our women’s softball team, which will be making its debut in 2023. This is an exciting development for us as we work towards promoting inclusivity and diversity within our club. We are dedicated to creating a welcoming environment for players of all genders.

As a club, we take great pride in our picturesque cricket ground, which is considered one of the most beautiful in the South West. The stunning surroundings provide the perfect backdrop for a day of cricket, and we are grateful to have the opportunity to play at such a magnificent location.
