Welcome to Buxton Cricket Club, where we believe that cricket is for everyone, to play and to enjoy. Whether you are a seasoned player or someone who simply wants to have fun on the field, our vibrant community club welcomes boys, girls, men, and women of all skill levels.

Our club offers a range of teams for different age groups and genders. From the little ones in our All Stars program (ages 5 and above) to the under 15s, we believe in nurturing young talents and providing them with opportunities to develop their cricketing skills. We also have men’s and women’s teams, creating a platform for players with great ambitions to showcase their talents.

Currently, we have four adult teams competing in the prestigious Derbyshire County League, highlighting our commitment to fielding competitive sides. In addition, we have two adult hard ball ladies’ teams and two soft ball ladies’ teams, providing a welcoming environment for women to express their love for the game.

Our Junior section is blossoming with enthusiastic young cricketers. Our Clubmark accreditation assures parents and guardians that we are a safe and child-friendly club, where our qualified coaches work diligently to support each young player’s journey in cricket.

The heart of our club lies in our magnificent and historic ground, The Park, located just 5 minutes away from the town centre on Park Road. This iconic ground, once used by Derbyshire as a county ground, is a testament to our rich cricketing heritage. Additionally, the 3rd team plays at the picturesque Green Lane ground, providing a unique experience to players and spectators alike.
