Welcome to Chappel and Wakes Colne Cricket Club, where the love for the sport has been alive since 1846. Our rich history is represented in our club badge, which features the iconic Great Chappel Viaduct, a landmark close to our original ground.

In 1986, we moved to our current location, The Hobbies, which has become our beloved home. Here, we host a variety of cricket teams that cater to players of all ages and skill levels.

Our club proudly fields two Saturday league teams that compete in the highly competitive Two Counties Championship. These teams showcase the finest talents of our club members and strive for success on the pitch.

For those seeking a more relaxed cricket experience, our Sunday XI offers friendly matches, providing an opportunity for players to enjoy the sport in a laid-back and enjoyable environment.

We take great pride in nurturing the skills and passion of young cricketers, and our Juniors section is a testament to that. We kickstart our youth development with All Stars Cricket, a program designed for youngsters aged 5 to 8, where they can learn the basics of cricket in a fun and inclusive setting.

As our young athletes grow, we introduce them to Kwik Cricket at the age of 8 to 11. This stage focuses on skills development and enables players to participate in weekly tournaments within our local community, building teamwork and camaraderie.

For those aged 11 to 15, our Under 11s to Under 15s teams provide a platform for players to enhance their cricketing abilities. Through dedicated training sessions and expert coaching, we equip our junior members with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in the sport. These teams also compete in league fixtures throughout the season, fostering healthy competition and a sense of achievement.
