Chester Boughton Hall Cricket Club

Welcome to Chester Boughton Hall Cricket Club, home to the National T20 Champions of 2014. We are a proud member of the ECB Cheshire County Premier League and have a rich cricketing heritage dating back to the 1870s.

Our club boasts an impressive range of teams, including four senior Saturday sides, two senior ladies' teams, an over 40s team, and a thriving junior section for boys and girls. Additionally, we also participate in occasional Sunday senior games, providing ample opportunities for players of all ages and abilities to showcase their skills.

Cricket has always been at the heart of our community, and our outstanding ground, nestled alongside the picturesque Shropshire Union Canal, epitomizes the spirit and history of the sport. It is a place where legends have played and friendships have been forged.

In addition to our comprehensive array of teams, we also offer extensive training options. Junior practice takes place on Monday and Friday evenings, while senior training sessions are held on Tuesdays for the ladies and Thursdays for the men. We welcome new players with open arms and provide a supportive and inclusive environment for all.

As one of the finest cricketing facilities in the North West of England, we have the privilege of hosting various representative games for Cheshire CCC and Lancashire CCC sides. In 2022, we are particularly excited to announce that Chester Boughton Hall will be hosting the prestigious ECB 'Showcase Match' between Cheshire and Warwickshire on Sunday 31 July. This match promises to be an exhilarating display of talent and will undoubtedly leave a lasting impression on all who witness it.
