Welcome to Consett CC, a friendly, sociable, and inclusive cricket club based in Consett, a beautiful town located in the North West of County Durham.

As a Community Amateur Sports Club, we are committed to providing a welcoming and enjoyable environment for individuals of all ages and abilities. Whether you’re a seasoned cricketer or a complete beginner, we warmly invite you to join our club and become a part of our cricketing family.

Our club boasts two Saturday teams that participate in the highly competitive Northumberland and Tyneside Cricket League. Additionally, we have a Sunday team that competes in the Hetton Lyons Sunday Cricket League. With regular matches throughout the season, there’s plenty of opportunities for players to showcase their skills and passion for the game.

For our younger members, we offer Under 9, Under 11, and Under 13 sides, providing a nurturing and supportive environment for them to develop their cricketing abilities. We are proud to attract over 60 children to the annual ECB All Stars program, designed to introduce cricket to a younger audience and foster their love for the sport. Additionally, we have 20 talented girls signed up for the ECB Dynamos course, highlighting our commitment to promoting gender equality and inclusivity in cricket.

We are always excited to welcome new members, and our doors are open to individuals of any age or skill level. Whether you’re a seasoned cricketer looking to join a new team or a complete novice seeking to try your hand at the sport, there’s a place for you at Consett CC.
