Welcome to East Rainton Cricket Club, a historical institution that has been at the heart of our village since its establishment in 1849. For over 170 years, we have been providing the community with opportunities for sport, camaraderie, and leisure, continuing to foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for all.

At East Rainton CC, we offer a wide range of cricketing opportunities for individuals of all ages and abilities. Our club boasts two senior men’s teams, ensuring a diverse and competitive playing experience for our adult members. Whether you are an experienced cricketer looking to test your skills or a newcomer to the sport looking to learn and grow, you will find a team that suits your needs.

In addition to our senior teams, we also take pride in our mid-week team, offering our members the chance to enjoy a friendly cricket match during the week. This provides a fantastic opportunity for those who may have other commitments on the weekends but still want to be a part of our vibrant club.

Furthermore, we are thrilled to have a ladies Softball side, providing women in our community with the chance to participate in a modified version of cricket that is both fun and engaging. This team fosters a supportive atmosphere where players can develop their skills and build lasting friendships.

East Rainton CC also places great emphasis on nurturing young talent through our Junior cricket program.
