Fair Oak Cricket Club

Welcome to Fair Oak Cricket Club, a friendly and inclusive cricket club located on the outskirts of Eastleigh in Hampshire. Established in 1947 as a village side, we have since experienced tremendous growth and success, becoming an ECB Clubmark accredited club.

Our home ground, Lapstone Park, is a modern facility that we have exclusive use of, thanks to the support of the Parish Council and our dedicated team of officials and helpers. This state-of-the-art facility has become the envy of many visiting clubs.

At Fair Oak CC, we are proud to run four senior men's teams in the Southern Premier League and Hampshire Cricket League. Our 1st XI competes in SPL Division 2, our 2nd, 3rd, and 4th XIs in HCL Divisions 2, 5, and 6 respectively. In addition, we also have an evening XI and T20 XI.

We place a strong emphasis on youth development and have implemented training programs starting from the age of 5. This initiative has led to an increase in girls wanting to play cricket, which has resulted in the relaunch of our Girls team. We hope that this development will pave the way for even more success in the future.

Fair Oak CC is also proud to have established a ladies W10 team six years ago. This team initially aimed to involve mothers and other spectators in cricket, promoting active participation and fun. Over the years, these ladies, along with other new members, have progressed to winning trophies and, more importantly, improving their fitness while building relationships with a like-minded community.

All members, regardless of age or skill level, can benefit from our coaching sessions held throughout the year. We have a high percentage of talented young cricketers from our youth squads who play key roles in our senior teams, exemplifying the success of our youth development programs.

We are privileged to have the support of our generous and committed sponsor, Wildcat Law. Their support allows us to provide top-notch equipment, update our playing and training kits, and subsidize the younger age groups, girls, and ladies' teams.

While the COVID-19 pandemic presented challenges in the 2020/21 season, our club officials and committee worked diligently to ensure that we met all recommendations from our governing bodies and the Parish Council, resulting in another memorable cricketing period for Fair Oak Cricket Club.
