Welcome to Gedling & Sherwood Cricket Club, a premier cricket club located in West Bridgford and Gamston, Nottinghamshire. Situated at Regatta Way, Gamston, just off Radcliffe Road and near Lady Bay, we are easily accessible from all parts of Nottingham, especially West Bridgford and surrounding areas.

At Gedling & Sherwood, we pride ourselves in providing a fun, friendly, and family-oriented atmosphere for cricketers of all ages and abilities. Whether you are a beginner looking to learn the basics or an experienced player aiming for the highest level of amateur cricket, we have something for everyone.

Our Junior Academy is a vibrant and growing community designed for ages 6-15. We offer excellent coaching and training opportunities to help young cricketers develop their skills and reach their full potential. With a strong emphasis on sportsmanship and teamwork, our Junior Academy instills values that go beyond the cricket field.

For senior players, we have four senior Saturday sides that compete in various leagues. Our first XI is proud to represent Gedling & Sherwood in the prestigious Nottinghamshire Premier League, which is the highest standard of amateur cricket available. This provides a fantastic platform for talented cricketers to showcase their skills and compete at the highest level.

On Sundays, we have one side playing league cricket, and another development side playing friendly cricket. This ensures that players of all abilities have an opportunity to participate and progress in a competitive but supportive environment.

As a club, we are committed to promoting cricket in the local community and providing opportunities for people of all backgrounds to get involved. We have excellent facilities, including well-maintained pitches, modern training equipment, and a welcoming clubhouse where players and supporters can relax and socialize.
