We are always on the lookout for new players, whether you’re a seasoned pro or a beginner looking to get started. Joining Hartlepool Cricket Club is a great way to meet new people, have fun, and improve your cricket skills. No matter your age or gender, we believe that cricket should be enjoyed by all, and we are proud to offer opportunities for boys, girls, men, women, and non-binary players.
At Hartlepool Cricket Club, we have a long history of success and pride ourselves on being competitive. We have four senior teams playing in the prestigious North Yorkshire & South Durham ECB Premier League, providing high-level cricket for both players and spectators. In addition, our Over 40s team plays midweek, offering a more relaxed and social cricket experience. Our senior women’s team competes in the Durham Cricket Board Women T20 League on Friday nights, showcasing the talent of our female players.
Our thriving junior section allows us to participate in competitions offered by the Durham Cricket Board Junior League and the North Yorkshire Area Cricket Council. We have age-specific teams from Under 9s to Under 19s, providing a progression pathway for young cricketers. Additionally, we offer girls-only teams at various age groups, giving girls the opportunity to play and compete alongside their peers.
Our clubhouse is the heart of the club, where players and spectators can relax and socialize. With two lounges available for private functions, it is the perfect venue for celebrations and events. We also have multiple big screens, ensuring that sports enthusiasts can catch all the action. Every Thursday, we host a quiz night, providing a fun and competitive evening for club members.
Whether you’re a seasoned cricketer or a complete beginner, Hartlepool Cricket Club welcomes you. Join us today and be a part of our friendly and inclusive cricket community.
