Welcome to Hartlepool Power Station CC
Welcome to Hartlepool Power Station Cricket Club! Established 50 years ago, we are a social cricket club that prides itself on inclusivity and camaraderie. With two teams that play on Saturdays, our members range in age from 13 to 70, creating a vibrant and diverse community of cricket enthusiasts.
Our club is proud to be a part of the Langbaurgh League, a well-respected and established league that takes us to some of the most picturesque villages across North Yorkshire. We believe that cricket is not just about the game itself but also about the experience of playing in beautiful surroundings, surrounded by like-minded individuals who share a love for the sport.
At Hartlepool Power Station CC, we welcome players of all ages, genders, and abilities. We firmly believe that cricket is a sport for everyone and strive to create an environment where individuals can develop their skills, make lifelong friendships, and enjoy the thrill of the game. Whether you’re a seasoned cricketer or just starting out, you’ll find a place on our teams.
Even if you don’t fancy yourself as a player, there are plenty of opportunities to get involved in club matters. From assisting with match preparations to volunteering at events, we encourage all members to contribute to the club’s success. We understand that cricket is a team sport both on and off the field, and we value the commitment and dedication of each and every member.
As a club that prioritizes the well-being and development of our young players, we fully comply with the ECB youth cricket regulations. We are proud to be affiliated with both the Yorkshire Cricket and Durham Cricket Boards, which further strengthens our commitment to nurturing talent and providing opportunities for growth.
So, whether you’re a passionate cricketer looking for a competitive league to showcase your skills, or a cricket enthusiast wanting to be part of a supportive community, Hartlepool Power Station Cricket Club welcomes you with open arms. Join us in our love for the sport, as we come together to play, learn, and celebrate the wonderful game of cricket.
