Welcome to High Halstow CC
Welcome to High Halstow Cricket Club, a welcoming and inclusive community where the love of cricket brings people together. Established in 1895 by the Revd. T.W. Longfield and the supportive members of the village, our club has a rich history and a thriving present.
In 2023, High Halstow Cricket Club boasts three Saturday league XIs and one Sunday friendly XI, providing opportunities for players of all skill levels to participate and enjoy the game. Additionally, we are proud to introduce a Ladies XI, offering development fixtures with both hardball and softball options. Our commitment to promoting cricket at both adult and junior level is evident in the success of our Colts Section, which competes in league cricket at Under 11, 13, 15, and 16’s. Despite our smaller size, our colts consistently outperform larger clubs, a testament to our dedication to nurturing talent and providing a supportive environment for young players to flourish.
Nestled within the picturesque Hoo Peninsula, our home ground, Rayner’s Meadow, is located in Christmas Lane, High Halstow. This idyllic setting provides the perfect backdrop for a day of cricket, where players and spectators alike can enjoy the natural beauty of the surroundings while being immersed in the excitement of the game.
At High Halstow Cricket Club, we pride ourselves on being a sociable and friendly club. We believe that cricket is not just a sport but a way to build friendships and create lasting memories. We welcome players of all ages and abilities, and our door is always open to those who share our passion for the game. Whether you’re a seasoned player looking for a new club or someone who wants to try their hand at cricket for the first time, we encourage you to join us and become a part of our cricketing family.
