Welcome to Himley Cricket Club, a thriving and inclusive club located at our Stourbridge Road facility. With two fantastic cricket squares, we offer excellent facilities for players of all ages and abilities.
Our club prides itself on its strong senior teams, with five teams competing in various leagues. Our 1st XI plays in the prestigious Birmingham & District Premier League, showcasing the highest level of cricket in the area. The 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th XI teams compete in the Worcester County League, providing opportunities for players at different skill levels.
Senior practice and training sessions take place on Thursday evenings at the club during the summer season, starting from 6.30pm. We also have ladies and girls teams that play both softball and hardball cricket. Their practice and training sessions are held on Monday evenings from 6.30pm to 8.00pm. We aim to provide a supportive and inclusive environment for all players to develop their skills and enjoy the game.
At Himley Cricket Club, we have one of the top junior sections in the country, boasting over 200 enthusiastic members. Our junior section welcomes players of all abilities, ranging from Under 8’s to Under 19’s. We also offer the All Stars Cricket program for children aged 5 to 8, providing a fun introduction to the sport.
We take great pride in being a community-focused club, providing a welcoming and supportive environment for all players and their families. Our aim is to help each individual player reach their full potential, whether it is to compete at the highest level or simply enjoy the game with friends.
Junior practice and training sessions take place on Friday evenings from 6.30pm to 8.00pm during the summer. Additionally, juniors aged 13 and above have the opportunity to attend senior training on Thursday evenings.
