Welcome to Hockerill Cricket Club, a vibrant and inclusive club located in the heart of Herts and Essex! We pride ourselves on being a friendly and sociable club, welcoming players of all ages and abilities.

Whether you’re a seasoned cricketer or a complete beginner, we have something to offer you. Our club competes in the local villages league, the Herts and Essex Border League, where we field two league teams every Saturday. On Sundays, we have a more relaxed and friendly setup, perfect for those looking for a more social cricket experience.

In addition to our adult teams, we also have a midweek Veterans team, open to players aged 45 to roughly 75. While this team includes some non-members, this is a great opportunity to play alongside seasoned players and learn from their expertise.

At Hockerill CC, we are passionate about nurturing the next generation of cricketers. We offer extensive opportunities for juniors, starting with our AllStars program for children aged 5 to 8. From there, we have teams for Under 11, Under 13, and Under 15s, providing a progressive and structured pathway for young players to develop their skills.

Our junior coaching sessions take place every Friday evening throughout the year. We utilize state-of-the-art facilities, moving indoors during the off-season months and transitioning outdoors from May to August. Our experienced coaches and volunteers are dedicated to creating a fun and safe learning environment, ensuring that all our young players get the most out of their cricketing journey.
