Welcome to Hockwold Cricket Club, a vibrant and inclusive community that welcomes players of all ages and abilities. Our club is known for its friendly atmosphere, where everyone is valued and encouraged to develop their cricketing skills.

If you’ve been considering joining a cricket club, look no further than Hockwold CC. We have three adult sides, consisting of two Saturday teams and one Sunday team. Whether you’re a seasoned player or new to the game, we have a place for you on our team. Our focus is not only on competition but also on fostering a sense of camaraderie and sportsmanship among our members.

Families are always welcome at our club, and we take pride in being a family-friendly environment. We understand the importance of involving children in sports from an early age, which is why we have a flourishing junior section. Boys and girls of all ages and abilities are encouraged to join and participate in our junior training sessions. These sessions take place outdoors on Wednesday nights from 5.30pm to 7pm throughout the cricket season. We also offer preseason indoor coaching sessions to help our juniors refine their skills before they hit the field.

As an affiliated club of the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), we are proud to offer the ECB’s Allstar program. This program provides our young players with a structured and enjoyable cricketing experience, enabling them to develop their skills in a supportive environment. It’s a fantastic opportunity to introduce children to cricket and help them build a lifelong passion for the sport.
