Welcome to Kirk Langley CC, a friendly village cricket club with a rich history dating back to 1857. Our club is located in the picturesque G B Barrington Playing Field, named after a renowned teacher who not only played cricket for Derbyshire but also dedicated over five decades to our beloved Kirk Langley Cricket Club. Following his passing, Barrington’s daughter purchased the village cricket ground and generously bequeathed it to the parish, ensuring our heritage and tradition live on.

Playing in the Derbyshire County Cricket League, our club boasts two senior teams that compete at a competitive level. Additionally, we also organize various friendly matches throughout the season, allowing our players to enjoy the sport in a more relaxed and social setting. We pride ourselves on being an inclusive club that welcomes players of all ages and abilities. Whether you’re a seasoned cricketer or a complete beginner, we have a place for you in our team.
