Welcome to Llanarth Cricket Club, a friendly and inclusive club located in South Wales. As a highly regarded club within the cricket community, we take pride in our excellent facilities and beautiful grounds.

Our dedicated groundstaff team, including Clive, Peter, Mike, and Jolan, work tirelessly to maintain our grounds to the highest standard. Their hard work was recognized in 2017 when they were awarded the South East Wales Cricket League Groundsmen of the Year award. We are grateful for their efforts in providing us with exceptional playing conditions.

At Llanarth CC, we welcome cricketers of all ages and abilities. Whether you’re an experienced player or new to the sport, we have a place for you. We also encourage individuals interested in umpiring, scoring, ground maintenance, or volunteering to join our club.

Under the leadership of our 1st XI captain, Ollie Mann, and our 2nd XI captain, Nick White, we compete in league cricket matches on Saturdays. Both captains recognize the importance of youth development within our club and provide ample playing time and experience to our young talent.

Senior cricket practice occurs every Thursday during the season, providing an opportunity for players to improve their skills and technique. Additionally, we offer training sessions for our youth teams – U11s, U13s, and U15s – on specific evenings guided by ECB Level 2 coaches.

Excitingly, we have entered the Women’s Softball cricket Winter and Summer Leagues. Matches are held on Sundays, and training sessions take place on Fridays. We invite anyone interested in joining our women’s team to contact Gary or Jo for more information.

We also want to introduce the younger generation to the sport through the ECB Allstars and ECB Dynamos cricket initiative. These programs, designed for children aged 5 to 11, introduce them to the sport, teach them new skills, help them make new friends, and above all, have fun.
