Llangennech Cricket Club is a historical institution in South Wales, with a legacy dating back to its formation in 1881. For over a century, the club has been a hub for cricket enthusiasts, providing a platform for players of all ages and abilities to come together and enjoy the game.
Nestled in the picturesque Recreation Ground in Llangennech, the club’s home since 1927, the cricket pitch exudes a charming nostalgia that harkens back to the sport’s earliest days. The lush green outfield sets the stage for thrilling matches and memorable moments on the field.
Catering to a wide range of age groups, Llangennech Cricket Club boasts a comprehensive cricketing program. Our three senior teams offer opportunities for experienced players, while our junior age group cricket accommodates aspiring cricketers from the age of five through to seventeen. We also take pride in our commitment to inclusivity, with dedicated under 11s and under 9s girls teams, and the upcoming 2023 season will mark the introduction of our very first Ladies Softball team.
