Welcome to Llantwit Fardre CC
Welcome to Llantwit Fardre Cricket Club, a friendly community cricket club that has been proudly serving the community since 1908. We are passionate about cricket and provide a welcoming and inclusive environment for players of all ages and abilities.
Our club is based at Central Park, Church Village, Pontypridd, CF38 1RJ, where we have a fantastic playing area with an 8-wicket square, storage facilities, and a spacious pavilion that includes changing rooms and social facilities. Our homeground provides the perfect setting for thrilling matches and memorable moments on the field.
We cater to members starting from the age of 6, with our active Junior section offering opportunities for young cricketers to develop their skills and love for the game. Our Junior teams participate in the Cardiff and Vale Midweek League, with Under 11s, Under 13s, and Under 15s teams competing against other clubs in the region.
For our seniors, we have two teams playing in the South East Wales Cricket League, providing competitive cricket for experienced players. Additionally, we have a Development XI that plays occasional matches on Sundays, allowing players to showcase their abilities and progress their game.
In 2023, we proudly introduced our newly formed Women’s Softball team, offering a fantastic opportunity for women of all ages to get involved in cricket in a fun and relaxed format. This exciting addition to our club has already been met with enthusiasm and we are excited to see this team flourish.
We are always on the lookout for new players, sponsors, and volunteers to help us grow and prosper as a club. Whether you are a seasoned cricketer or new to the sport, we welcome you to come and be a part of our friendly community. If you are interested in joining, sponsoring, or lending a helping hand, please feel free to contact us at llantwitcricket@gmail.com. We look forward to hearing from you!
