Loughton Cricket Club

Welcome to Loughton Cricket Club, a friendly and vibrant club that welcomes cricketers of all ages and abilities. Situated in the heart of Loughton, our club has a long history, being founded in 1879, and has become a central hub for cricket in the local community.

At Loughton CCA, we pride ourselves on our inclusivity and have a range of teams to cater to different levels of competitiveness. In the 2020 season, we had the honour of fielding four Men's Saturday League teams, showcasing our commitment to the sport. Although we reduced the number of teams in the league this year, we have consistently had five teams in previous seasons. This is a testament to the popularity and success of our club.

We are also proud to have a Women's team that competes in the Essex Women Premier League. Our women's section is growing rapidly, and we encourage players of all skill levels to join.

Our club offers a wide range of cricketing experiences, from highly competitive matches in the Premier division to more social and developmental games. Our Saturday 4th XI and Sunday Friendly fixtures provide opportunities for players to enjoy the game in a relaxed and supportive environment.

One of the highlights of our club is our thriving Juniors section. We have teams for boys ranging from U9 to Matchplay at U16 and U19. We also have a Girls section that welcomes players from U11 upwards. The Friday night Junior training sessions are not only an opportunity to sharpen cricketing skills but also a chance for club members, social members, and parents to catch up and enjoy the beautiful surroundings at the Uplands.
