Welcome to Maltby CC
Welcome to Maltby Cricket Club, a vibrant and inclusive community for cricket lovers of all ages and abilities. Whether you’re a seasoned player or just starting out, we offer a warm and family-friendly environment where you can enjoy the game and make lifelong friends.
Our club boasts an impressive range of teams to cater to all skill levels and age groups. For senior players, we have three teams competing in various divisions. The 1st XI showcases their talents in the challenging 2nd Division of the esteemed North Yorkshire and South Durham Premier League. Meanwhile, the 2nd XI competes in the equally thrilling NYSD 4th Division. If you prefer a more relaxed pace, our 3rd XI plays in the NYSD Sunday Conference South. Regardless of the team, you’re guaranteed exciting matches and the opportunity to sharpen your skills.
For the younger generation, our junior section is a hub of energetic enthusiasm. With nearly 80 young cricketers aged 7 to 18, our teams compete across several age groups, including under 19, under 17, under 15, under 13, and under 11. Our dedicated coaches and volunteers provide expert guidance and nurturing support, ensuring that our young talents can thrive and reach their full potential.
Beyond the exciting on-field action, Maltby Cricket Club is renowned for its vibrant social calendar. We believe in the power of camaraderie and love to bring our members together off the pitch. From social gatherings and themed parties to fundraising events and charity initiatives, there’s always something for everyone to enjoy. Join us and become part of our close-knit community, where you can forge lasting friendships and create unforgettable memories.
