Martinstown Cricket Club, also known as Martinstown CC, is a vibrant and welcoming cricket club situated between the picturesque towns of Dorchester and Weymouth. Our club is a popular choice for cricket enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels, and we are dedicated to providing opportunities for children, young people, and adults to participate in this beloved sport.

At Martinstown CC, we field two Saturday sides in the prestigious Dorset Cricket Board League. Our first team competes in the highly competitive Premier Division, while our second team challenges themselves in County Division 4. Additionally, we have an Evening League side that plays in the Dorchester & District Division 1 League. For those looking for a slightly more relaxed atmosphere, we also organize friendly matches on Sundays and midweek.

We firmly believe in nurturing the talent of young cricketers, and as such, we offer various youth programs. Our All Stars program caters to children between the ages of 5 and 8, providing them with a fun and engaging introduction to the game. For slightly older children aged 8 to 11, we have Dynamos cricket, which offers enhanced coaching and development opportunities. Additionally, our U11’s, U13’s, and U15’s participate in the West Dorset League and Cup competitions, showcasing their skills against other talented young cricketers. Sundays are dedicated to U9/10’s games, giving them a chance to showcase their talents in a supportive and competitive environment.

To ensure that our facilities are top-notch, we have recently refurbished our practice nets in 2020 and extended our cricket pavilion in 2018. Our exquisite ground is also a sought-after venue for touring teams, who are captivated by its picturesque surroundings. In recognition of the hard work and dedication of our Grounds Team, they were honored with the prestigious ‘Volunteer Grounds Management Team of the Year 2022’ award at the esteemed Dorset Cricket Awards Evening.
