At Mawdesley Cricket Club, we have a vibrant and competitive lineup that caters to various levels of skill and experience. Our three senior teams proudly represent us in the esteemed Moore and Smalley Palace Shield, showcasing their talent and sportsmanship on the field. Additionally, our dedicated ladies’ team competes in the highly-regarded Liverpool Comp, reinforcing the club’s commitment to gender inclusivity in the sport.

But it’s not just about the seniors – we strongly believe in nurturing the potential of our young cricketers. With junior teams ranging from Under 9’s to Under 18’s, our club actively participates in the Liverpool Comp’s Southport and District Junior Cricket League. We are dedicated to providing a nurturing environment where young players can learn, grow, and develop their skills while fostering a love for the game.

In 2021, Mawdesley Cricket Club took a significant step forward. We proudly launched our very own Cricket Academy, known as the ‘Chorley and West Lancashire Cricket Academy.’ As a social enterprise, our Academy offers year-round professional coaching to Junior players, ensuring they receive the guidance and support they need to excel in the sport.
