Welcome to Melksham Cricket Club! We are a friendly, sociable, and inclusive club located in the heart of Wiltshire. Whether you’re a seasoned player or new to the sport, we welcome players of all ages and abilities to join us.

Our club is based at the newly established Melksham Community Campus, providing us with state-of-the-art facilities and a thriving atmosphere. We have big ambitions for the future and are rapidly growing as a club.

Currently, we field three senior sides who compete in the Wiltshire County Cricket League, offering competitive and exciting matches for our players. Additionally, we have a T20 side that plays friendly matches against other local clubs on Wednesday nights throughout the season, bringing a fun and social aspect to the game.

Melksham Cricket Club has a rich history. We were established in 2016 as a successor to Beanacre and Melksham CC, which was formed through a merger between Beanacre CC and Melksham Town CC in 2011. Recognizing the need to revitalize the club’s performance and establish ourselves as the premier club in Melksham, we underwent a name change.

Our club faced a significant setback when our pavilion was devastated by a fire, leaving us without an indoor facility for several seasons. However, we persevered and have since grown stronger, both in terms of our playing membership and our facilities. We now have the capacity to field three senior league teams, a testament to our dedication and resilience.

In addition to our senior teams, we have a vibrant youth section that offers cricket opportunities for children of all abilities. Our sessions take place on Thursday and Friday evenings at Melksham House, where we provide training on the field and in our brand new twin lane cricket nets system. We aim to nurture and develop the next generation of cricketers, ensuring the sport’s legacy continues in Melksham.
