Welcome to Middleton CC

Welcome to Middleton CC, a friendly and sociable cricket club that prides itself on being inclusive and welcoming to players of all levels, ages, and abilities. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a complete beginner, we have a place for you in our club.

Our senior cricket section is particularly strong, with four teams that play on Saturdays. Our 1st XI competes in the Sussex Cricket League – Premier Division, while our 2nd XI plays in Division 4 West. We also have a 4th XI that plays in Division 12 West, with a focus on introducing juniors to the world of open-age cricket. In addition, we have the Middleton Mavericks, our T20 Sussex Slam team that plays mid-week matches, as well as our participation in the National Cup Competition.

Our junior cricket section is thriving and highly successful. We have teams competing in the West Sussex Leagues at various age groups and also participate in the Sussex Junior Cricket Festival. We provide coaching for juniors of all levels, and our team of experienced coaches work diligently with each age group. We are also in the process of establishing a Sunday Development Team to nurture our younger players and prepare them for the senior sides.

We are proud to be building our Women’s & Girls section, with girls teams being entered into the Sussex Junior Cricket Festival and our women taking part in the ECB Womens Softball Tournament.

As a club, we are committed to promoting disability cricket and have been awarded the ECB Disability Cricket Champion Club status this year. We are currently developing our programme for disability cricket and welcome anyone interested to get in touch for more information.

At Middleton CC, we have excellent facilities and one of the best grounds in the county. We are a progressive sports club that aims to foster a welcoming and supportive environment for all our members.
