Welcome to Monmouth CC

Monmouth Cricket Club, located on the border between England and Wales, is a thriving and ambitious club that welcomes players of all ages and skill levels. Currently competing in the South East Wales Cricket League Division 7, 12E & 13E, Monmouth CC has a rich history of success.

One of the club’s notable achievements is being three-time double winners of the Herefordshire Marches League and cup. They were also runners up in Worcestershire County League Division 3, and finished 3rd in Division 2 in 2010. The club made the decision to re-join the Welsh pyramid in recent years and demonstrated their strength by winning the Division 3 title in 2012, achieving promotion in 2017, and winning Division 2 at the first attempt in 2018.

Monmouth CC boasts a range of teams for both men and women. On Saturdays, they field 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Teams, offering opportunities for players of different skill levels to compete. In addition, the club runs women’s softball and hardball teams in the South Wales Women’s Cricket Softball League, providing a welcoming environment for female players to enjoy the sport.

The club is particularly proud of its junior section, which offers a variety of programs and training opportunities. On Saturday mornings, the national Allstars and Dynamos programs provide young cricket enthusiasts with a great introduction to the game. Monmouth CC also trains players in the U9 through to U15 age groups on Wednesday evenings, nurturing their skills and passion for the sport.
