Our story dates back to 1976 when two ambitious cricketers, Mr Hanif Mayet and Mr Farid Karolia, founded Mount CC. Hailing from the local Asian community, they saw an opportunity to establish a team that would represent their heritage and bring their love for the sport to life. Back then, the Dewsbury & District League consisted of five sections, but there were hardly any Asian teams participating. Determined to bridge the gap and drive diversity in cricket, Mount CC was born.

Throughout the years, we have strived to create a welcoming environment where cricket enthusiasts of all backgrounds can come together and enjoy the game they love. Whether you are a seasoned player or someone completely new to the sport, our doors are open to you.
